Start with the alert code. This page shows where to look it up, links to the troubleshooting guide, and shows how to ask for help.

## Find your alert code

Each notification and Repairs card ends with a code such as CS-101. The Help page in the dashboard and the error code list explain what it means, its effect on watering and how to fix it.

Open an issue. Include the alert code if you have one, the two version numbers (the Crop Steering sidebar shows them) and the controller log.
